Kaleidoscopic binoculars - Sum up the landscape
Binoculars allow to look at a distant object in details by keeping a three-dimensional view. The kaleidoscope, for its part, allows to see a set of varied and abstracts shapes and colors. It is also a fast and changing succession of impressions, activities, sensations, like for exemple the "kaleidoscope of memories". Finally, this object allows to emphasis on user's sensations while looking at new unknown landscapes. it allows to see the environment in three dimensions from different angles and in a synthetic way.
Verlaine's « kaleidoscope » ends with these lines :

Of the same enchantments, the same familiar scene,

These are special custom-designed in PMMA blocks. First cut up in a standard length and width, these are, next, faceted, sanded and polished. Thanks to handcrafted facets, one landscape would never be the same by looking through severals kaleidoscopic binoculars.
